blah, I thought that was going to work.
The only difference I see, and it's a flimsy one, is that your game is installed in Program Files. I'm going to try doing the same and see if it affects it.

ok it still works inside program files so that's another fail. Going to see what happens with a Windows 7 virtual machine.

thanks for the help on Nascar Revolution, but one game i am really struggling to get working on windows 10 is Nascar Simracing from EA - would you be able to try and get this one figured out? the problem seems to be with the 3dsetup.exe not reading windows 10 specs right - it keeps telling me i have insufficient disk space even though i have like 40gbs free
i saw a mention on reddit in a archived thread that someone edited the hexes in the file and this may have got it fixed, but i have no idea what that involves

Here's a link to the file: Replacement 3dsetup.exe linkUnzip to your NASCAR SimRacing folder and run the configurator. Make sure you click through the settings and do an 'analyze'. Since you're using Win 10, I think you will also need to use a no cd crack if you haven't already gotten one. This was my process when I installed the game on 10: (1) Installed game (I had to use Windows XP SP2 compatibility mode on the setup.exe to run it) (2) Downloaded v1.025 patch from here (in order for this to work, you have to unzip the patch file TO your NASCAR SimRacing directory. It will not work from any other folder). (3) Downloaded v1025 to v1029 patch from here (same as above) (4) Downloaded v1029 no cd patch from here, replaced the original NASCARSimRacing.exe file with the no cd crack. (5) Replaced 3Dsetup.exe with the 3D config program from NT2004

Hi,
I have been having trouble with Madden 2002 and FIFA 2001. Both games installed fine but when I go to run them I either get an error that I am not running it as the admin or when I do run it in admin it doesn't start the game at all.
I have tried different service packs and still the same issue on both games. Thank you for your help.

have you tried not to install FIFA 2001 in it's default location(program files folder), but instead in something like C:/FIFA 2001?

And have you tried to use wrappers such as NGlide and DG Voodoo 2?

Hi Alexander, Are you using Windows 10? If so, that run as administrator error usually occurs because the game used SafeDisc copyright protection, and the driver for it is no longer supported by Win10. You can overwrite the game .exe with a no CD patch to fix the problem. FIFA 2001 no cd patch link Madden 2002 is a different animal - you can probably launch it through a no-CD, but I have never been able to get that game to run without major graphical issues.

Hi Matt,
I will give the FIFA suggestion a try tomorrow, thank you.
To answer your question, Windows 10 is what I have and yes I only tried to run it as admin.
I also was going to try Tiger Woods PGA Tour 06 a try too, not sure if you have had any experience with that one yet.
Thank you for all of your help, NHL 2000 has been a blast again for me!
