Couple of notes to start: To install the game, you must set Windows 95 or 98 compat. mode on the setup.exe If you're a Windows 10 user, you have to replace the NFLFEVER.exe with a no CD crack to get past the SafeDisc protection. Can get that here: Free Info Society NFL Fever no cdOkay, this one annoys me. It used to work perfectly on Windows 8 with dgVoodoo; I even had a page on the site for it. Since I upgraded to Windows 10, though, the game won't load the DX emulation for some reason. Running through dxWnd, I can get it to load the field, but the players are invisible. At least dxWnd affects it, though. Really want to figure out why the dgVoodoo emulation stopped working; it's like it's looking in a different folder for the ddraw.dll now. This game was designed for DirectX 6.1, and I think that might be the only version of DX it ever worked on without some sort of external program. Even in the XP days, this didn't run right.

For the first time in site history, I can move a game out of the recycle bin forum! Lol I changed the file name on the NFLFever.exe and the DirectX emulation immediately started working. My jaw hit the floor. idk what makes me even think of crap like this to try. Lol
Would love to know the hows and whys on that one; Who Wants to be a Millionaire doesn't work either unless I change the file name. There's got to be a registry setting or something like that involved.

Can't get this to work with Windows 7. I followed all the steps. Not sure what graphics card I have in my Dell laptop but it may have something to do with it. The game installed but when I start the .exe it crashes and says there was a problem with spike.exe. Can someone help?
