Whenever I try to play madden 2004 for pc, the game installs good with no problems. I boot up the game, click play, and nothing. No error messages, and this happens with or without the cd. Any ideas how to fix this?

Running for me using v4.1.0.0
Only 2 issues I found with the game:
1. Some replay saves work fine. Other saves crash the game if you try and play them.
2. The speed of the pan when viewing a stadium goes really fast.
One question, is there any way to view replays using the gamepad controls?
These controls are available for me if I view a reply while I'm playing a game.
If I load a saved replay from the main menu I only get the keyboard replay controls and have to use the keyboard.
