Don't know if this place is still active but I want to get this out here.
The DxWnd method to fix the "CreateDevice failed" error doesn't work for me.
I followed the instructions carefully on this site, looked at a tutorial on how to work the program, and tried some other methods that would fix the error but none of them worked.
I don't know if there's anything else I can do. Chances are, it's my hardware that doesn't make it work just like with Scarface in the past for me. No fix was working but a change of computers got it to work.
If that's the case then I'm off to Madden NFL 07 I guess.
Before you say it, I know there is a patch for the game but I don't want to try it because I heard that the patch somehow makes the players' hands disappear. Unless there is a fix for the missing hands after the patch, I don't want to install it.
