Ryan, go to this page heatfinder.net/downloads.php?c=5Scroll to the bottom and download the v1.1e patch. Install it, then run the game and load a track. Exit the game, and download and install the custom Heat 1.80 patch. After that, you should be able to play without the CD.

Hi Ryan, I'm honestly not sure if this is the right game. Try downloading one of these NoCDs and see if the file name matches with whatever .exe file is in your SimCoaster folder. gfx.wiretarget.com/simcoaster.htm

Any chance you would know how to get the CD-Rom for "Operation" to work? That would be awesome.

Whoops I thought I replied to you. It just won't install once the auto-run launches. Says it's not compatible with this version of windows. So just wondering if you can find a way around it. I tried to do the same thing as Game of Life but I knew that was a long shot, haha.

Allrighty -- my game download 'source' seems to be down tonight, but I'll definitely check it out as soon as I can get my hands on the files. It's a Hasbro game, and they usually can be made to work.

OK, it was a little more involved than I thought it would be, but I think I've got it. Wish I had a better/simpler way, but here goes: You were right about the Game of Life method not working. The actual game files on the Operation CD are all compressed, so to be able to use them, you'll need to use a program called Universal Extractor. Universal Extractor LinkInstall Universal Extractor, then insert your Operation CD and open it in File Explorer. Look for a file called "OPERATE.Z". Copy it to your hard drive (I just dragged it to my desktop to make things easier). Run Universal Extractor. Click on the 3 dots box to the right of "Archive/Installer to extract:" At the next screen, select the OPERATE.Z file and hit open Back at the menu, where it says destination directory, enter in the folder you want the game to be installed to. Press OK. You should receive this popup. Just press OK. Open up File Explorer again and navigate to the folder you specified as the destination directory. You should see that a new folder has been created with the following 5 files: OpCache.ief Operation.exe Operation.txt Readme.doc SMACKW32.DLL
Finally, go back to your game CD in File Explorer and copy the OPERATE.IEF file from your CD to your new Operation directory on the hard drive. After the file transfer is complete, RENAME this file to "Operation.ief" Basically, once you're done, the game folder should look like this: Double click on Operation.exe and see if the game starts up:

Hey
Any way you can get EA Sports F1 2000 working on Windows 10? I'm able to install it, but it crashes when I try to launch it.

Another game I can't seem to install on Windows 10 64bit is "You Don't Know Jack Volume 2" from 1996. If by any chance you could look for a fix for that...that would be awesome. If not, you've done more than enough for me. Thanks again for all that you do!

bo: I'll take a look at it. Do you get a specific error message, or does it just kick you back to the desktop? Tony: I'm looking for Jack Vol. 2 online and seems the download links have been killed as the game is actually being offered for sale again. Are you at all familiar with ISO images and how to create one? If not I can probably walk you through it. Re: paypal, no, that is ok, but it was super nice of you to offer. My payment comes from posts like that.
