Trying to go to the select teams menu in NHL 2002 results in Event Viewer showing this after a crash:
Faulting application name: nhl2002.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x31313931 Faulting module name: ntdll.dll, version: 10.0.19041.2364, time stamp: 0xea5711f3 Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x000482f5 Faulting process ID: 0x44d4 Faulting application start time: 0x01d94f22ede5066d Faulting application path: C:\NHL 2002\nhl2002.exe Faulting module path: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll Report ID: def3245a-97dd-47ea-841b-7e18ec96bb68 Faulting package full name: Faulting package-relative application ID: Faulting package-relative application ID:
PLEASE FIX THIS NOW! WE NEED TO BE ABLE TO PLAY THESE GAMES! Attempting to replace the dll with an older version is impossible, as even when I am the only person using the computer, Windows still says that I NEED permission to even attempt to paste the file. This is Microsoft's way of halting the preservation of both NHL 2001 and NHL 2002. This crash NEEDS A FIX RIGHT NOW!

Hello, I have a problem with NHL 99. I am on Win10 64bit. I´m trying to get it work but still it won´t let me play. Firstly I installed the game also with nglide and i have it in my directory:C/Program Files (x86)/EA SPORTS/NHL 99/ and the "cd" is located on G. When I want to start the game from autorun the screen with play, install, uninstal etc shows up but whenever I try to press the play it just vanishes and when I try to run it from the exe in folder it just says that "The game is not properly installed on the hard drive. Please reinstall and try again. And I just dont know what to do. Or does somebody here have the working version which they cloud share? thx very much

Okay so that was over with. Looks like I just misplaced the direcotry in reg.file and now ran into different problem. The game now "boots" shows the 3dfx logo but then crashes and shows this message: / locatebigentry: ENTRY "LICENSE.FSH" NOT FOUND FILE cmn/locatbig.c LINE 239 FUNCTION locatebigentry / So now I´m stuck again but I feel I am very close. If anybody can help me I will be more than glad.

Good afternoon,
I would like to ask if someone has the update patch for NHL 2002, to version v1.01.
It looks like they updated the game online, and there is no copy available of that update that I can find.
The reason is that I'm trying to make a recolpialtion of all this saga, and properly cleaning the original executables to allow compatibility with the new operating systems.
Thank you in advace and regards,
Anyone has the original update? Thanks
It's the first link on classicgamefixes.wixsite.com/home/nhl-2002/. Click on "NHL 2002 v1.01 Patch Link (By EA SPORTS)."

Hi there,
Not sure if you'd still check this, but was trying to download NHL 2000 for some nostalgia and haven't been able to get it to work using the steps provided so I'm sure I'm doing something wrong.

I am trying to run NHL 2001 from an ISO (downloaded off the wayback machine). I was able previously to get it installed, but I encountered an issue and uninstalled. I unmounted the ISO and then mounted it again, and I go to the autorun.exe file. It opens and gives me the options to install, readme, tech support, or quit. When I click install, the InstallShield Wizard starts up, but then I get a dialog box telling me "error extracting support files: access is denied." I have tried running in compatibility mode for Win95, Win98, and WinXP SP2, all by right-clicking and clicking run as administrator. I don't think I am missing any step that I did the first time I was successful. Can anyone help?
