ok, have you tried cycling through some of the compatibility modes to see if one works? On my laptop I can run FIFA '01 by setting Windows XP compatibility mode on the fifa2001.exe. Otherwise it crashes before the EA Sports logo screen.
edit -- hi I guess we're here at the same time lol

Hmm...what options does 3DSetup.exe give you when you try to run it? Does it show an option for 'glide device'?

I also tried to install to 32-bit Program Files location, Compatibility troubleshooter and even to run as administrator, nothing so far had fixed that issue.

Ha - well I won't keep you then. If all else fails it can probably be made to work with dgvoodoo - in fact I'm going to test that right now.

Thank god, i finally found a fix to this...turns out your last mention about dgvodoo finally got me on track...what i did i inserted all .dll files from MS and Glide folder into main game folder and configured through DgVoodoo and it works, even with my old savegames.

Cool. Yeah, dgvoodoo is pretty much the first thing I go to if a game doesn't work. It's not a 100% success rate but it's darn close.

yeah, both wrappers are very useful in old games, so that means for me only games i need to fix are FIFA 13 and FIFA Manager 11, and if you can help on those cases i would be happy cuz these two have a very bad cases of pc issues cause FIFA 13 freezes after Messi screen and FIFA Manager 11 just outright refuses to start and crashes. But if you can't, i would understand.

No prob I don't have those games but I can always look into it What version of Windows do you have again? For some reason I thought you were 8.1...but I'm looking through the board history and now I'm not sure why I thought that. lol Getting a bunch of hits on Google for FIFA 13 not working on 8.1 -- people saying disabling the Windows Error Reporting service can fix it? Hi again, sorry it took so long to get back on this! One of those weeks where there hasn't been a free minute. lol OK, I thought maybe the W7 was just on the old rig. So, with the FIFA 13..I know this sounds stupid, but have you tried just letting it sit for a few minutes at the Messi screen? Seeing some reports here that it might eventually fix itself: www.reddit.com/r/FIFA/comments/1iw7lk/fifa_13_freezing_at_messi_loading_screen_can/Also seeing some claims at other sites that updating DirectX can help.
